We allow much room for creative control in our volunteer's writing. Volunteers are encouraged to explore styles that interest them. Most common are academic writing, investigative, opinion-based, and interview pieces.

Our writing volunteers have some background in writing for school newspapers, similar websites, or other publications. We value colorful voices and the ability to speak on wide-ranging topics within medicine.

We are always made available to our volunteers. In moments of writer's block or unfamiliarity, meetings are encouraged, and writing guidance is given throughout the different steps of writing an article.
